music/discord

I love music. The dozens of playlists on my Spotify make this clear. But I also play around with songs, turning them into nightcore and slow + reverb.
I also run Driver Picks the Music, a music event at Profound Bond.

Fanfic Commissions

Due to circumstances outside my control, I am in need of a fourth job. However, I've been looking for about a month now, so it obviously will take some time. DREAM EARTHBAG HOME

For the last 12 years, I've had a plan: once the girls have both graduated from high school, buy acreage somewhere (10-20 acres) and build an earthbag home. An earthbag home is an ecofriendly, cost effective way of building a house. More popular in third world countries than in the US, it uses certain types of dirt packed into bags that are then piled, reinforced with steel rebar and chicken wire, then covered with adobe plaster or something similar. Small, round dome houses are the majority of what you will see in this style; this is because the weight is better handled by round walls rather than long, straight ones. This is why we will have round towers at each corner, with shorter straight walls connecting the towers together to create all the exterior walls.I will be incorporating wood and electric stoves/fireplaces wherever possible, and working them into the design in a way that the stoves/fireplaces and their chimneys help heat the interior during the winter. We will have large screened windows and tons of doors everywhere, which could all be opened on nice days to help cool the inside without having to constantly use a central air conditioning unit.On each side of the house from front to back (with the girls towers being on the back of the house), shorter walls will go into place to create little sealed off sun porches. This way, we can have more external doors open for airflow, but still have some security. Between the towers on the front, and the ones on the back, will be large, screened in porches that will enable us to keep the front and back exterior doors open, but lock the porch doors, if needed, while still being able to move air flow. We will also have lots of ceiling fans inside and on the porches (which is a feature of lots of southern houses).I am planning on incorporating solar panels, windmills, grey water systems and rain barrel systems to help reduce costs of electricity and water. I am also toying with the idea of putting in heated floors in parts of the house.Another thing I'm considering is digging a root cellar underneath the kitchen, accessible from it, where we could store produce without having to use the electricity of a fridge for it. Then we could have a smaller fridge in the kitchen that wouldn't use as much energy.I am also planning on building smaller dome earthbag homes on the property and renting those out on sites like AirBnB. I'm also planning on building two of them closer to the main house, with the intent of providing them to live-in caretakers for the girls as I get older and am unable to do everything on my own. With this house, I am hoping to push the boundaries of earthbag building somewhat. Below is a very rough drawing of my earthbag house layout.

Smallest Square
This will be an open courtyard, right in the very center of the house. I plan on having a table and some chairs here, as well as a little pond and some plants. I'm toying with the idea of putting a moving roof of some sort on it, so I can open and close it off to the elements when needed.
Middle Square
This area, on all the walls, will be glass from about halfway up; in between the glass walls, it will act as a greenhouse. The roof will be glass or something similar also, to let light in, and allow this area to act as a greenhouse. I plan on planting herbs, fruits and veggies in this area, as well as just some pretty flowers. This will help cut costs of groceries, with the possibility of being able to sell what we can not use before it goes bad.
Largest Square
More of a rectangle, this is where the main living spaces would be: kitchen, living room, dining room, a bathroom - stuff like that.
Starr's Tower
Each tower will be two stories. I haven't decided what will be on the first floor of Starr's, but her bedroom and bathroom will be on the second floor of it.
Nova's Tower
The first floor of Nova's tower will have a sensory room/craft room for both the girls. Her bedroom and bathroom will be on the second floor.
Oriana's Tower
The first floor of my tower will be my office/craft room, with my bedroom and bathroom on the second floor.
Fourth Tower
The first floor of the fourth tower will be our library/reading room, with the second floor being a media room.
